My Faith

TRINITY
The Doctrine of the Trinity is that in ONE GOD there are three distinct persons. The Father, The Son (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit. They are all the same, substance and are co-equal and co-eternal. (Gen 1:26; Mat 28:19)

JESUS CHRIST
We believe that Jesus Christ is GOD THE SON, the 2nd person of Trinity. On earth He was 100% God and 100% man. He was the only man ever to live a sinless life. (John 1:1-5; John 1:9-14; Isa 9:6; 1 Tim 2:5)

HOLY BIBLE
We believe that the Holy Bible and only the Bible is 100% the Word of God. It, alone is our final authority in determining all doctrinal truths. (2 tim 3:16; 2 peter 1:20-21; Pro 30:5)

THE FALL OF MAN
Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned. (Romans 5:12)

THE PLAN OF REDEMPTION
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)

NEW BIRTH
In reply Jesus declared, “I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.” (John 3:3)

VIRGIN BIRTH
Jesus Christ was conceived by God the Holy Spirit (The 3rd person of the trinity) in the Virgin Mary’s womb. He is called the Son of God because He was conceived by God the Holy Spirit. (Isa 7:14; Luke 1:35)

REPENTANCE & ACCEPTANCE
The commitment to turn away from sin in every area of our lives and to follow Christ (Acts 2:38; Acts 3:19)

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9) Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God. (John 1:12)

SANCTIFICATION
The Ongoing process of yielding to God in order to complete the development of Christ’s a character in us. (1 Thessa 5:23)

SALVATION THROUGH GRACE
We are saved by grace (undeserved and unearned) through faith in Jesus Christ and His death, burial and resurrection. Salvation is a gift from God, not as a result of our good works or any human efforts. (Eph 2:8-9; Gal 2:16)

CHRIST’S BLOOD
The Blood that Jesus Christ shed on the cross of Calvary was sinless and is 100% sufficient to forgive man of all sins. Jesus allowed Himself to be punished for our sins we had committed, enabling all mankind to be free from the penalty of sin (which is death). (1 John 1:17; Rev 1:5)

CHRIST INDWELLS ALL BELIEVERS
A Christian is a person who has invited the Lord Jesus Christ to come and live inside of him. He is putting his trust in what Christ has accomplished for him when He died, was buried and rose again from the dead. (John 14:17;23; John 1:12; John 15:4; Rom 8:11; Rev 3:20)

RESURRECTION
We believe that Jesus Christ was physically resurrected from the dead in a glorified body three days after His death on the cross One day all believers in Christ will also be physically resurrected in their glorified bodies to their eternal reward in Heaven with God. (Luke 24:36-39; Phil 3:21)

HEAVEN and HELL
Heaven is the eternal dwelling place of all believers in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. (2 Cor 5:1; 1 peter 1:4; Mat 5:12) After one life on earth, the wicked will be judged by God and sent to hell where they will be eternally, consciously, tormented with the Devil and the fallen Angels. (Mat 25:41; Rev 14:10; 20:14-15)

WATER BAPTISM AND THE LORD’S SUPPER
We were therefore buried with Him through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. (Romans 6:4)
For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus. took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.” For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes. (1 Corinthians 11:23-26)

BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT
All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them. (Acts 2:4)

THE GIFTS AND FRUITS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men. (1 Corinthians 12:4-6)
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. (Galatians 5:22-23)

DIVINE HEALING
Is anyone of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faithfulness will make the sick person will; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven.

THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST
For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with aloud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)

TITHES AND OFFERINGS
“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, ” and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.” (Malachi 3:10)
